Small World Early Learning and Development Center offers early childhood care and education in Keystone STARS 4 facilities that are staffed with nurturing, educated, creative and highly qualified teachers.
Small World Early Learning and Development Centers were established in 1981, and we are pleased to be the oldest child care centers in the downtown area. Both of our centers are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, and we are one of two NAEYC-accredited facilities in the area. In addition, Small World Early Learning and Development Centers do not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin, or handicap in administration of their educational policies. At our facilities, we do not produce copies; rather, we aid in creating originals by helping your child reach his or her full potential.
Your child is cared for by a highly trained staff. Each of our professionals either holds a degree in education or child care curriculum, or has many years of child care experience. Additionally, we are proud that more than half of our staff members have been with us for more than 3 years, and many of them have celebrated their 10th anniversary!
To provide an extra measure of security, both of the facilities have state-of-the-art video camera security systems to monitor and record all the child care areas. From the moment we are open to the time we close, rest assured that your child is safe at our center.
